Landlord Electrical Certificates
Would the wiring in your property pass a safety test?

A landlord has a duty of care to ensure that their properties and appliances are safe for tenants. We can carry out a periodic test on your electrical installation and provide a comprehensive report, including any faults uncovered. This will highlight potential electric shock risks, fire hazards or defective electrical work and also reveal if any circuits are overloaded or lack earthing or bonding. We can then, subject to quotation, rectify any faults found ensuring your property is certified safe. Prices for an electrical installation condition report begin at £150 + VAT. Call us for more details and a no-obligation quotation.

In addition to the above, we can also test all your electrical appliances (More information here on PAT testing).

For rented residential properties and commercial properties such as offices and shops the wiring must now be tested at least every 5 years or on change of ownership.
